Smart Street Light System


Introduction:

We have an aim to design and develop smart street lighting system which can be used to save energy as well as human efforts. As mentioned the energy is the single most important parameter to consider when assessing the impacts of technical systems on the environment. Energy related emissions are responsible for approximately 80% of air emissions and central to the most serious global environmental impacts and hazards, including climate change, acid deposition, smog and particulates. Lighting is often the largest electrical load in offices, but the cost of lighting energy consumption is low when compared to the personnel costs. Thus its energy saving potential is often neglected. According to study global grid based electricity consumption for lighting was about 2650 TW in 2005, which was an equivalent of 19% of total global electricity consumption. European office buildings dedicate about 50% of their electricity for lighting, whereas the share of electricity for lighting is around 20-30% in hospitals, 15% in factories, 10-15% in schools and 10% in residential buildings..Intelligent lighting control and energy management system is a perfect solution for energy saving, especially in public lighting management. It realizes remote on/off and dimming of lights, which can save energy by 40%, save lights maintenance costs by 50%, and prolong lamp life by 25%. The system application in streetlight control for each lamp will reduce in streetlight electricity and maintenance cost, and increase availability of street light.

Working:
this project is working under these following conditions, if any vehicle or any person walks through the first sensor then street light no. 1 will gets on. When he crosses the first street light and reaches to second street light the first light gets off and next light will gets on. Whenever the human movements will be occurred beyond the street light then the light will be automatically controlled. After the sunlight has been reduced in the street then the Street light will glow by using a light sensor. LDR sensor are connected with the analog pin of microcontroller so whenever any object crosses the sensor it gives continuous value and we have put the value at a bar scale and it is programmed that if the analog value reaches to that value it will start the light ahead of that object. And LDR sensors are also set to below of street light so if any street light will be off or damaged it will gives the value to microcontroller and our microcontroller will initialize the LED which is connected to digital pin of the microcontroller.

Problem Domain:
The existing system is commonly used in all streets of street light system. But in this method there is a loss of heavy electricity in the whole night. If the street light is not stopped after the night, the loss will continue throughout the day. And also the street light is not necessary when there are no human movements in the street.

 solution Domain:
This system resolves the faulty street lamps issue, where people are rarely taking the initiative to report faulty street lamps in their locality. With this device, it able to track whenever there is faulty lamps and sends the data to the control center. Thus, technician will be able to acknowledge the faulty street lamps at the first moment and head for the repair. Another benefit of this system is the cost saving in terms of wiring. With the wiring method, the high cost of the construction and material makes the system uneconomical; moreover, the reliability of the system will reduce too. Although this system monitors the health of the street lamp status, it did not have other smart feature whereby controlling the street lamps by automatically turning ON or OFF the lamps. If this feature is apply to this system, this allow another great energy saving. In addition, any faulty lamp will be automatically turning OFF which avoid more energy wastage causes by the faulty lamps. With the application of the lamp illumination control on the system, the lamps are able to turn ON the lights with low illumination when the surrounding condition needs the low light illumination of the lamps (e.g. rainy or cloudy day). It must be sealed or isolated probably to avoid the environmental that could affect the lifespan of the devices.

Result
In this project Intelligent Street lighting system is described that integrates new technologies offering ease of maintenance and energy savings. The proposed system is appropriate for street lighting in remote as well as urban areas where traffic is low at times. Along with energy saving it also tackles with the problem of power theft .It is capable of taking corrective actions in case of unprecedented events of climatic changes.

Implementation:
Firstly, microchip would be required to be installed on the pole lights. These chips will consist of a micro-controller along with various sensors like LDR sensor for data transmission and reception between concentrator and PC. The data from the chips would be received on a remote concentrator (PC) and the PC would also transmit the controlling action to the chip. According to the survey of variation in the intensity of light in the field area, efficient programming would be done to ensure minimum consumption of energy. Separate automatic mode will be provided that will have timing considerations in addition to surrounding light conditions.

Future scope:
  • In future we can add some wireless feature and some security feature in our projects like GSM modem and X-bee modules. So the security purpose will be implemented with our project.
  • Enhance public safety and accelerate environmental initiatives, while keeping costs low with increased operational efficiencies. Provide more valuable services to citizens and build regional economic advantage.
  • Pole damage detection with the addition of a suitable sensor.
  • Taxi call buttons on lamp posts to signal to the network management centre to generate a Taxi call to the appropriate location.
  • If the system has traffic speed sensors then this information could be used to manage traffic speed via the dimming of the streetlights. If the average traffic speed is too fast during evening and night hours, this could be used to trigger a slight dimming of the streetlights. The level of dimming would be imperceptible to motorists but they would slow down, regardless, in response to the slightly diminished lighting. A five percent light reduction slows traffic but is not noticeable to motorists.
  • With the added intelligence in the lamp, you can add further features to increase HID lamp life, such as softer start-up and protection against re-igniting an already hot HID lamp, since this shortens the lamp life.

Top Reason Why Chandrayaan-2 is not a failure for ISRO; what happened to chandrayaan 2?

India is proud despite Moon landing setback:

First time Chandrayaan 2 launched to land on moon's south pole
We lost the connection with Chandrayaan-2 at the very las moment when Vikram module was about to land at the lunar south pole of the moon.

We still don’t know the exact location of our craft, but our PM Modi ji said it was not the only opportunity left there would be further many more opportunities will come. If this would have simply done, India would have been the fourth nation to make a smooth landing on south pole of the moon. ISRO officials said that the Chandrayaan-2 approached the Moon very normal until an error occurred about 2.1km from the surface.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji said that he is proud on every scientists who have been a part of this chandrayaan 2 programme and said that we come so near to putting a probe on the Moon.
Chandrayaan 2 Success Story

Chandrayaan 2 is still a success, and not a failure;

The reasons is Orbiter Is Still Orbiting The Moon. The Chandrayaan 2’s main Orbiter is still uploading the live pictures and other data to Indian Space Station in Sriharikota. Just because Lander and the Rover could not land on the the moon’s surface The mission Chandrayaan 2 is not completely failed in fact its 95% succeed.

An ISRO official confirmed that, “Only 5% of the mission has been lost from the programme – Vikram the lander and Pragyan the rover – while the remaining 95% – that is the Chandrayaan 2 orbiter – is orbiting the moon successfully,”

The Chandrayaan 2’s main orbiter has more than one year life, and it will send us all the information about the moon and this was never happened before. And on the other note life cycle of the Rover was only 14 days, so after 14 days anyhow it would have run out of work. So in this manner we can’t call it a failure it’s a big success as of now.

The cost Of Chandrayaan 2 Mission Is Less Than A Movie;

ISRO Officials said the making cost of Chandrayaan 2 is only Rs 978 Cr., and out of which Rs 608 Cr. was spent on the spacecraft systems, and the rest Rs 375 Cr. was spent on the GSLV MK-III launcher.

If we compare this mission with some other projects like statue of unity in Gujarat was made in Rs 2966 Cr., and the Hollywood movie Avengers Endgame was made in Rs 3636 Cr.

The whole world is amazed with ISRO and Indian Scientists, in such a low cost it’s tough to produce a movie and here we have launched Chandrayaan-2, it is a real success of India.

  • Duplicate content monitoring: This is very important that your web pages should be plagiarism-free. For this many online tools are available to check plagiarized content. If your website has plagiarized content then the web browser will not rank your website.
  • Site architecture and coding: The code of your website should not be very lengthy i.e. complexity should not be high.
  • Site speed: In On-page SEO monitoring site speed is very important as it will help to improve the time taken by your website to load in one’s PC or mobile. Optimizing images, minifying code, leverage browser caching, and reducing redirects are some of the processes to maximize speed. 
  • Site Uptime: It is the time in which your website and web service are available to the users over a given period. This must also be monitored with online tools available.


Off-page SEO

  • Keyword research: Keyword researching is the process of getting words which are most commonly searched in search engines. Many online tools are available for keyword research and one such is Google keyword planner. This tool will help you to find commonly used keywords, its competition, biding rate, and average traffic.
  • Link building: It is the process of getting other websites to link back to your website. Link building is one of the major concerns to drive referral traffic and increase their site's authority. It usually happens sites with more backlinks tend to earn higher rankings.
  • Blog and Articles: Blogging is good for SEO because it helps with several things that are important ranking factors. It makes your website fresh. Through attractive blogs, people will spend more time on your website and your users might convert into customers.
  • Deep linking: It refers to including of hyperlinks within content that will direct users to site’s page whenever user clicks on it. Deep linking can help businesses improve web conversions.
  • Social Optimization: Social media optimization (SMO) is the use of online communities to generate publicity to increase the awareness of a product, service or event. Types of social media involved include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, bookmarking sites, video sharing sites, blogging sites, etc.

What is the importance of 15 August 1947?

From East India Company to the British Empire, the ultimate heritage attracted the Englishmen to rule the country. The colonial rule had spanned to such an extent, that the sun always shined in the parts of the world where the empire ruled. But like many nations, India was fed up and was showing reluctance against the British rule.




What is the importance of 15 August 1947?

On 15th August 1947, at the stroke of the midnight hour, our nation became free from the colonial rule. This day symbolizes the strength, determination, and aggression of Indian citizens, and the fact that India shall be the most prosperous and powerful nation till eternity. This day is an homage to every fighting soldier, every person who gave their lives for their nation.


How is 15 August celebrated?
But just how is this day celebrated all across the nation? Firstly, the president of India addresses the country while the prime minister of India hoists the Indian Flag at the Red Fort situated in New Delhi. Twenty-one gunshots are fired in the honor of this day. The PM delivers the speech commemorating the historical significance. Then the national anthem is sung followed by a parade from the Indian armed forces. However similar events occur at the capitals of all 29 states and 7 union territory.

Why did India got independence on 15 August 1947?
The British empire was very reluctant at first as they didn't want to leave but because of several noticeable events forced them to think otherwise. People were angry, they were fed up with all the partiality being done, all the massacres that took place. Netaji Shubhash Chandra Bose led an army to attack the colonial rule whilst Mahatma Gandhi led several non-violence and non- cooperation movements that were truly remarkable. After all this pressure, King George IV decided to hand India the Independence that it deserved. However, he was still the head of state until the day of 15th August 1947.

How many countries celebrate Independence Day on 15th August?
Apart from India, countries like Korea, Congo, and Liechtenstein celebrate their Independence Day on August 15. On August 15, 1948, Korea got freedom and became the Republic of Korea. On August 15, 1960, France relinquished its rule on the Republic of Congo. Also, the country of Liechtenstein celebrates the Liechtenstein Day on August 15th while countries like Pakistan and its allies exhibit subtle sorrow does not celebrate this day.

Which country does not celebrate Independence Day?
Although the extremist had their own way of handling The Colonial Rule, Mahatma Gandhi had other beliefs. He believed In Christianity and Hindu beliefs, as non-violence was his main motive throughout the freedom struggle. He conducted the non-cooperation movement by boycotting British items and people, conducted civil disobedience movement which became increasingly popular and a large chunk of people joined to provide support. It was clear that this was the most efficient way to show anger against the empire, Gandhi and his followers urged people from all states to create such movements and step up to the British. This was the pivotal time when the empire set the nation free.

On the 15th of August 2019, India will celebrate its 73rd Independence Day. People will come together and will see the nation in its full glory yet again.

What is Raksha Bandhan and how it is celebrated?
Raksha Bandhan is a popular festival traditionally in Hindu culture. It’s an annual rite or ceremony celebrated across India and some parts of South Asia. This festival shows a special bond between brothers and sisters.  On this day sisters tie ‘Rakhi’ on the wrist of their brothers for his health, prosperity and well being and in return brothers promise his sister of her protection and give presents. The ceremony comes with love, a bond of togetherness, and excitement in the family. Gifts, sweets, chocolates serves the purpose of joy among families. The craze of ‘rakhi’ is very high in India that all the markets get flooded with different varieties gifts, sweets and rakhi like personalized rakhi, rakhi with cartoon characters, and having different types of threads. Sisters used to send ‘Rakhi’ to their brothers through courier services if she can’t herself tie rakhi. This shows a special and great bond in their relationships.




Why we celebrate Rakshabandhan?
Raksha Bandhan comes with the Sanskrit terminology ‘Raksha’ means protection and ‘Bandhan’ means the bond of togetherness. This festival not only signifies blood relations but also celebrated among cousins, nephews, and sisters-in-law. Rakhi festival shows the eternal love and grows stronger relationships among the member of families. We all are lucky to share this culture and to be a part of a beautiful country with rich culture and diversity.

How Raksha Bandhan was started?
In Hindu mythology, there are many stories related to the origin of this festival. One of the stories revolves around God Krishna and Draupadi, the wife of Pandavas. According to one version of Mahabharat, Krishna got cut in his little finger while handling sugarcane. Lord Krishna’s wife immediately sent her help to get a bandage cloth. Draupadi who was watching this incident simply tore off a part of her sari and bandaged his finger.

In return for her deed, Krishna promised to protect her in times of distress. He kept his promise and that was how Draupadi's sari became endless and saved her embarrassment on the day she was disrobed in full public view in king Dhritarashtra's court.

Other concept of Raksha Bandhan-
In India Raksha Bandhan is not only celebrated among relatives but also with the objects that follow the concept of “Protection”. We tie rakhi to our vehicles, machines, house and other objects for the good and long lasting working and memories associated with them. In general, this festival comes the great bond and sweet memories of togetherness.

Why do we celebrate Friendship Day?

First of all HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY TO ALL OF YOU
How much further could we extend the magical bond of friendship? Although this idea is much debatable, we all could agree that it could travel far beyond anything imaginable. What's the significance of this day? Why do we even celebrate? What is a good friend, how to be one and what makes them insanely important? Well, let's find out.
Why do we celebrate Friendship Day?
Many nations across the globe unanimously agree that the first Sunday of the month of August should be celebrated as Friendship day to commemorate the extraordinary bond of togetherness that we call friendship. As it is a precious gift that we all could have, we think that you should at least spare a tad bit of time to learn about this magnificent enchantment. We celebrate this day by exchanging gifts and bands, by spending quality time and reminiscing about the journey that we had together.


What makes a good friend?

Although there is no such definition of a good friend, In my opinion a good friend is the one who understands you entirety say, for your convoluted expression, who never always have your back no matter how worse the situation gets, one who is indifferent and selfless, and more importantly is the one who is always up for an exciting adventure with you. If you want to know how to be one then, these traits are something that you could develop to be an excellent friend.
Why friends are so important in our life?
Friends are extremely significant in a person's life. They hold an important value as they teach us essential lessons which helps us to grow as an individual, they elevate our stressful life and lift our moods when we are enervated and exhausted. They're there to show appreciation even for our every insignificant pursuits. They're the constant source of never ending positivism, and all the craziness of the world can be seen in their eyes which makes the dull and monochromatic world astoundingly brighter.
How to be a good friend?
In conclusion, there are multiple people whom we call friends. Although many people come and go, true friend is the one who would never leave you alone at any cost, and exhibit a tremendous amount of craziness that could easily top the most joyful things in this planet. We should at least on this day recall our friendship, and celebrate this special bond that binds us together.

Before we dive deep into the realm of robotics, for all of those who are unfamiliar with the term that is robotics, here is the formal definition of the word. “The branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots”, In simple words, Robotics can be described as the making of amusing and fascinating robots that can be programmed and developed to perform some specialized tasks or just made for fun.



This whole process of creating the robots feel like cumber some task in itself but this is where Robozz Lab comes to help. Our goal is to educate the people about the branch of robotics and make the development process incredibly easier so that it elates and motivates your child to do more and thus create pieces of technology that are both fascinating and helpful for the masses. We believe that kids are the future architects of the society and only if they are well educated about robotics then they could shape the big picture by inventing new and amazing things to solve many of the problems faced by the society.

Ans: You can start from basic electronics and basic Robotics then you can join for advance robotics or you can learn both the modules simultaneously.

Basic Robotics: In this course you'll learn about basic electronics and mechanical components like resister, capacitor, Ic's, gears, motors, how to make circuits, how to design circuits, how to operate motor using motor driver, what is electronics sensors, how to use sensors and make robots with them, how to make line following robot, edge avoiding robot etc.

Advance Robotics: After completing basic robotics you'll start expert module, and in advance robotics module you'll learn hardware with computer programming, what is microcontroller, how to program a microcontroller, how to make robots with programming, how to make voice controlled robot, how to make PC or mobile controlled robot etc.
